I am Shumin, I consider myself a researcher and a software engieer. When it comes to research, I think about problems in machine learning, computer vision and also reinforcement learning. • Launched Australia’s first online psychological treatment for eating disorders.
• Launched a new treatment service database for patients to search for eating disorder treatment.
• Developed the world’s first national surveillance system for eating disorders detection and intervention across Australian health system.

• Maintained the service level agreement of the SMARTS Broker Service.
• Designed and implemented internal service deployment automation tools Achievements
• Optimized the deployment workflow and reduced 92.3% of manual processing time of relevant tickets

Google Inc. Sydney, Australia. Nov 2016 - Feb 2017.

• Design and implement an internal service to analyse and manage tamper-evident sealing of portable devices to detect unauthorised hardware access.
• Deploy and monitor the service on Google Cloud Platform. Achievements
• Achieved 100% success rate on unauthorised replacement of the tamper-evident seals on the portable devices.
